I have tried to capture the shimmer from the capiz as the light touches it - they look so ethereal and elegant.

To compliment the capiz, I have paired silver tone delicate filagree charms along with silver tone hoops.

Each of the capiz pieces is completely natural and found in abundance in South East Asia, especially around the Philippines and Indonesia.

Capiz was often used as a substitute for glass before glass was available in this area, hence the nickname 'windowpane oyster'

The capiz measures approximately 1" in diameter (may vary slightly) and is completely natural, therefore, the colours will vary everso slightly too.

I do have various hoop sizes; the ones shown measure approximately 1.25".
