The Yellow Rose of Texas....a beautiful piece totally handcrafted especially for you.

Perfect to hang in your home all year round; a beautifully unique Christmas tree ornament; a gift for someone special...

Made from slices of real wood (aspen or maple) measuring approximately 3.75- 4” in diameter. A hand drawn rose burned into the wood using the ancient art of pyrography, where a burning hot metal tool is used to scorch permanent markings into the wood - a unique and timeless effect.

After burning the rose, colors are added using layers of watercolors. Your rose can be yellow hues as in the images, or, if you would prefer different colors, please just pop me a message.

Your ornament will be coated with polyurethane, a screw in loop and ribbon attached to finish.

I originally burned this piece for my lovely mum-in-law, whose mother was from Texas, as a little memorial piece to have in her sunroom.
